Blein Vie Noa all!!! aka happy new year!

So after my previous rant about New Yr Resolutions i thought i better cheer the page up a bit!

I have had some excellent news, my bst friend of far too many years has asked me to be godmother to her little girl due in 39 days!! Im so excited i was starting to think that she would never ask and that she was going to have someone else!! So the countdown begins!

Onhe other hand my as was boyfriend of a year is moving out today, very sad moment but hey ho, they said it never rains it pours and the offers are pouring in so i figure that i should swim in this littl storm before the drought sets in!! haha well we will have to see how that goes.

On the up side the hole in the was that the newly x did for me will be getting fixed in the morning before the landlord finds out oops!!!

Anyway love n hugs ppl make the world go around and Im going ot be like the fairy godmother from Cinderella - i better get a wand!!!!

2008 Who needs Resoluntions; as if there arent enought rules to break!!

For starters let me start by Saying Happy New Year people!!

I figure from my previous post you must be getting the impression that Im a rather depressing person and thats not true; im just a realist - well thats the story Im sticking too!!

Has anyone any new years reolutions for our wonderful new year? Quit smoking? Loose Wieght? find new Job?

I was asked what my NYR was going to be and I just said that 2008 was going to be better than 2007 but what does that involve???

I figure that No One EVER sticks to thier resolutions - if you can prove the contrary then please let me know and restore some faith in human will power!!! but what is the purpose of NYR is it to provide positivity for the start of the new year??? where did they originate from? Any sugestions let me know!!

So my NYR is to not make any NYR's!!!

This classic song but the Beautiful South makes you assess your life and it has made me do so today as we go into the new year im thinking that it is NOT under ANY circumstances going ot be anything like 2007. Dont get me wrong many amazing things have ahppened this year, my first international holiday, my new job to name a ffew but they are out wieighed by the amount I have been walked over by people!
